Shabby Chic Dollhouse Enamel Jug DIY

cream color homemade dollhouse enamel jug
I finally made one!

I'm so excited for this project, it's been on the back burner for a year or longer. I found a template online and I printed it off but then never did get to making it until late last night when I got that sudden urge. It was well after midnight when I finally went to sleep. The tutorial was easy but it's tiny so takes a while. Especially the painting part, I wanted it just so! When you pick up this jug it actually feels like real enamel.. it might be because I have quite a few coats of paint that I finished off
with a glaze. I also dried the jug in the oven in between coats.

I'm going to make a couple more in other colors. But today I'm just excited to show you my first one, yay me!

Of course I made the jug for Gnomey and when I gave  it to him he immediately began to fill it with flowers! Gnomes do like anything to do flowers and gardening.

Wow Gnomey, you're amazing! How beautiful. Let me see those... my goodness, you're a talent with arranging flowers. I'll have to make you more enamel jugs!

And if anyone out there reading this wants to make one just head over to Dollhouse Miniature Furniture Tutorials.
