Dresser Turned Dollhouse Recycle Unwanted Furniture

I just couldn't throw it away,
I had a small dresser that we had grown out of. It had been my first son's dresser then  it was passed down to each of my children over the years. The day came I decided it was time to get rid of it and put it out on my porch awaiting a dump run.

A week or so went by and I started to think maybe just maybe I could turn it into a dollhouse! That was a relief because I really didn't want to get rid of it for sentimental reasons.

So I hauled it into my kitchen,
It has been well used over the years! Once I took it apart I realized a couple things. One, it was too deep and two, the spaces between the floors would be too short. So I had to strip it completely, size it down and space out the floors.

Floors,
When I measured out a good distance for the floors and sawed everything down it was time to piece it back together. Then it was ready for wallpaper and flooring!

I found an excellent site that provides free printables for dollhouses. Check them out here https://www.jennifersprintables.com/

First thing in the morning my daughter see's the new house,
What fun for me to watch her play here. It also became the hot spot for the neighbor kids, boys and girls! A couple weeks later I added on and changed the look of this house, see link below.

Update!
I ended up giving it a huge makeover and turned it into a Castle.
See the update here.
